Scott And Carol Present - Batman the Ride Opens at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has opened Batman: the ride, free flying edition.

The 4-D version has riders flying on the outside of the track as they are magnetically flipped around the horizontal axle.

This is some park provided footage of looking straight out from the side of the vehicle. Your inversions may vary.

You can face both your fears and your friends fears on Batman.

Neil, Park President and General Manager, can barely contain his enthusiasm for the new ride as he explains how he hopes the guests of the park will enjoy the new ride, whether watching or experiencing it for themselves.

This is how Batman is used to traveling,

And here are some of the details located throughout the ride queue.

The caped crusader was there in person to approve the new Urban Assault Vehicle that has first appeared at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

And just because Scott though it was too cool to leave out, here is a real hologram in Batman Central.

This shows a few of the "declassified" details of the inner workings of the new UAV. Any further disclosure of information requires membership in the Justice League.

Preston, from S & S -Sansei, tells us a little about how the new ride vehicle works and what you can do to enhance your experience as you ride Batman at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Little things mean a lot.

And here you can see the UAV complete with reverse POV options installed. This was for temporary use only.

As you can see from this picture, there is little support structure, that function is assumed by the track that both controls the path of the ride vehicle and also is a large part of the support structure. A neat feat of elegant engineering to be sure.

Kevin & Brandon, from K & G Construction, talk about how much they enjoyed putting it all together, and how other than the weather, things went rather smoothly, which is uncommon for an inaugural installation.

Now this guy gets to do the high work, so the guests of Six Flags Fiesta Texas can enjoy Batman, if they dare.

Here you can see two cranes and one man lift that were required due to the unique design of Batman

.
And here are two of our rides on Batman at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The second portion shows what you would see of your friends as you ride facing each other. You are on different cars that can move independently of each other so no ride will be exactly the same.

Our thanks to the team at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Jeffery, Jeff, Cole, and Neil, and also to our new friends at K & G and S & S - Sansei, Kevin, Brandon, and Preston.
