Quassy Amusement Park Excited for Visitors to Get "Frantic" in 2015

The buzz around Middlebury, Conn. these days as reached a frantic level, all because of the new thrill ride at Quassy Amusement Park.

Named Frantic, and see above, the classic amusement park opened the ride to visitors on April 25th, and hasn't looked back since.
The ride has quickly become a hit among all age groups, showing that a good thrill ride still has big drawing power.

Frantic takes eight riders at a time on the end of a large pendulum, which spins as it swings back and forth.  Eventually the ride builds enough momentum to completely invert, completing a series of 360 degree flips.

Visa International of Italy, represented in the United States by Rides4U of Somerville, N.J., is the manufacturer of Frantic.

Also to the delight of Quassy Amusement Park, Frantic has been named one of AOL's top 19 most existing new theme park rides of the year.  “We’re certainly pleased to be listed among some of the top new attractions in the nation,” Quassy President Eric Anderson said of the accolade. “Today’s announcement really took us by surprise.”

The article, which is available here, lists many towering new coaster and other rides - so it was a nice surprise for the amusement park's ride to be featured.
