After a dramatic off season Winter refurbishment. the Forest Park Carousel will spin once more. The Forest Park Carousel will spin once more! Run by the Operations Division of the Ride Entertainment Group, the ride received one of the largest investments of care and money in its history. The Ride Entertainment team worked with famed carousel expert Todd Goings of Carousels and Carvings to replace parts throughout the carousel, some of which were original to the ride. Division Director David Galst said, "Over the past several months we undertook a major rehabilitation project of the 100 year old Forest Park carousel."

The entire machine was disassembled and every mechanical and electrical component was examined. As with any type of aging hardware, certain parts had to be fixed and replaced. The ride is now back together and ready to run for families from across the five New York City boroughs.

Six Flags Great Adventure's guest  can Celebrate The Fast Tracks and Food Trucks Festival  on April 25 and  26, at  this delicious festival, guests can enjoy a variety of cuisines ranging from barbecue and tacos to hibachi and sliders, plus sweets including gourmet waffles and cupcakes. More than 20 trucks will be available from 12 to 7 p.m., and six award-winning New Jersey wineries will also be on hand from 1 to 6 p.m. for sampling and wine purchases. Jack Hanna will present his gaggle of animal ambassadors at Busch Gardens Williamsburg on April 11th and 12th. Guests can join them for a special breakfast or lunch buffet and learn more about the importance of wildlife conservation. The next weekend he takes his “crew to Busch Gardens Tampa on April 18 & 19. He will present three shows daily in the Stanleyville Theater and there is even an opportunity for a “Jack Hanna Family Fun Sleepover the night of 4/18/2015.

At Kings Island, Workmen are applying the finishing touches on two new family rides opening this year at Kings Island in the park’s 14-time, award-winning Planet Snoopy kids’ area, Snoopy’s Space Buggies and Woodstock Gliders. Kings Island opens its 44th season April 18.

In honor of World Autism Awareness Day, which was April 2nd, Cedar Point turn the lights blue on the GateKeeper and Millennium Force roller coasters and the Power Tower thrill ride as a part of the Autism Speaks worldwide “Light It Up Blue” campaign. This global awareness campaign was adopted by the United Nations in 2007 to help shine a bright light on autism as a growing global health crisis. Cedar Point continues its preparations for the upcoming season, which begins on Saturday, May 9.
