Scott And Carol Present - A Look At Six Flags Great America's Goliath

As the ride has been previously announced, a new roller coaster is coming to Six Flags Great America.

The roof with the cupola surrounded by trees in the upper center of this shot will be the new station for Goliath. It had the banner mounted on it.

Land clearing and footer removal has begun. Since Iron Wolf was the first Bolliger and Mabillard coaster, the trees had many years to grow in around the ride.

The old Iron Wolf station looks so empty without any track running through it.

The view from behind the station with the park's maintenance access road.

A view from the train with Spacely's Sprocket Rockets in the background.

Another view from the train with Vertical Velocity half-way up the forward spike.

The view from the train platform if you get off the last car.

These remaining footers from Iron Wolf show how strong the ride was built. So far they are defying removal efforts, and they might remain if they are not in the way of future projects. Hopefully soon we will be able to bring you pictures of Goliath rising.
