Legoland Florida Construction Update

Legoland Florida held a media construction update today at the park, and has released some images of the new Florida property for the public.

First, a detailed park map that shows all the rides, attractions, shows, retail, gardens, restaurants, and more that Legoland Florida will offer.  If you click the image for the big version you can see a ton of neat details that are going into the park.  There's also some rides drawn on there that I don't see on the park's website, which is a fun surprise.

The media presentation also included a pretty cool set of photos taken from a helicopter.  From this perspective we can really see how massively under construction the park still is.  You can make out the start of many new rides dotting the landscape.

Sporting a brilliant new blue paint job, Flight School will be the park's family inverted roller coaster.  Part of the LEGO City area, it will be neighbors with the Fun Town Fire Academy, Driving School, and a live show named The Big Test.

This view shows off pretty much of the entire property that will open this October.  The Flight School coaster is at one end of the park, and you can see way back into the parking lot beyond the entrance.  (I spy coaster track in the lot!)

Legoland Florida still has annual passes that are good for the first year of operations for only $99 per person, a steal, really.  When it opens in October, it will be the largest Legoland theme park in the world.
