A Shot At A New Bell's?

Bell's Amusement Park, formerly located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, may have finally found a new home.

The original Bell's park closed in 2006 when it lost its lease with the County Fairgrounds, and the owners have been searching for a new place to set up shop ever since.

The rumored new location for the park is Coweta, Oklahoma, around 30 miles outside of Tulsa. Wagoner County has already signed a lease with the owners for the park to be built, but the deal depends on citizens voting yes for a 25 cent sales tax increase to help pay for the development. That vote will take place at the end of July.

The development would also include an animal shelter and exposition center. If built, Bell's owners want to relocate the famous Zingo wooden roller coaster, have indoor amusements, and a water park.
