Legoland's New Water Park

Legoland California has announced the details of their new 5.5 acre water park to be built inside the ever growing theme park. The area will actually require a separate admission from the park, but will just be a $10 add-on to the regular admission ticket. This is the next step in the park's plan to become a full fledged resort, with a hotel on the way once the economy fully turns around.

The water park will feature much of the traditional fair, only all themed nicely to Legos. The L.A. Times' Funland Blog has some great concept art of the addition as well as the specifics of all the attractions. This article provides some nice details on the $15 million addition as well.

But wait! There's more! Legoland will also add a new 4-D movie to the park next year, titled "Clutch Powers 4-D Adventure." The Funland Blog has the scoop on that, too.
