Dreger Clock Restoration Complete!

Way back in January of 2008 I posted about the effort to restore the famous Dreger Clock that sat at the entrance of Knott's Berry Farm for over 50 years. It had fallen into disrepair and was removed from the entrance plaza of the theme park and placed in storage. The Buena Park Historical Society was able to obtain the clock and quickly made plans raise funds to restore it and place it in public view once again.

Well, I'm happy to report that their efforts have paid off! The clock, seen above, has been fully restored and placed in a beautiful location near City Hall along Beach Boulevard. The restoration took over two years, and required the combined effort of many individuals.

The Historical Society is having a dedication ceremony on October 3rd in front of the clock on Beach Boulevard. You can read more at the project's website.

Congratulations to everyone involved on the project, it's great to see an effort like this come to fruition.
