Six Flags Over Georgia Opens Soon

Really soon. Six Flags Over Georgia will open for the 2009 season on February 28th, a week from tomorrow. That marks the earliest opening in the park's history and will make the park have the longest operating season on record, as well.

The park has also slashed the price of a season pass down to $49.99 - which is a seriously good deal. Many park's regular one day admission price is more than that!

The park has also uploaded some construction photos of the new attraction of the year, Monster Mansion (slated to open in May) on the park's website, found here.

i still understand why (well i kind of do) that six flags charge different season ticket prices at different parks? and not just $5 to $10 either. GA is $90 while the DC park is $50. that's $160 if i bought 4 passes for my family. thats worth a drive down to DC then

A season pass to Atlanta is $49.99, opening weekend everyone pays kids' prices of $29.99. San Francisco, Dallas and San Antonio are opening this weekend too, and all have special deals.
