Daily Spin 2.6.09

Lots of little news bits today, starting with a more indepth article on developer Nakheel's indefinite delay of starting the Busch Entertainment parks in Dubai. It included the above photo of a model of the development, sadly a high res version isn't available. Check it out.

Is troubled theme park Wild West World dead.... yet again? Apparently talks between the latest owners and an unnamed operator for the park have fallen through. Owners are also pointing to the economy as a reason why the park probably won't open again this summer.

What's up with Cypress Gardens? Well, according to the park they are still on track for a late March reopening, minus the rides and animals. All the animals have found new homes, and many of the rides have already sold. The park expects to make an announcement regarding new management and more next week.

Coaster-Net wants to spread the word that they have an interview with Kings Island's PR Rep Don Helbig on their site. You can check it out on their website. Kings Island looks to have a rather exciting 2009 season with the debut of their new mega coaster, Diamondback, and even more special events.

Thrillator also recently relaunched their website to be even more interactive and user friendly than ever before. Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Six Flags New England and Six Flags Great Adventure's makeover coasters, Superman and Medusa, respectively, have a new website showing off their ongoing transformations. SeeTheRide.com has been launched by Clawshun Industries to promote the 'work' they are doing on the rides.
